Trek Relief's 2026 Volunteer Adventure Trips Are Open
What if your next vacation did something that mattered?
That's the question Trek Relief has been answering for 10 years — and it's the one that has taken 191 volunteers across Nepal, Mongolia, Patagonia, and Peru, funding projects that communities have specifically asked for. Not charity imposed from the outside, but real partnerships built on trust, showing up, and doing the work side by side.
After a landmark 10th anniversary celebration, Trek Relief is heading into its next decade with four new programs in 2026. Each trip pairs an adventure that would stand on its own — horseback riding on the Mongolian steppe, trekking to a glacier lake at 4,100 metres — with service work that makes it mean something more.
Here's where we're going.
Mongolia: Wells of Hope
June 30–July 11, 2026 · 12 Days · Undur Ulaan, Arkhangai Province
In 2026, we’re taking our Mongolia program to the next level. After last year’s project of restoring and repairing wells alongside our partners at FARM, we’re now working to build a completely new well from scratch for a community that currently lacks access to clean water

Why Trek Relief? Why Now?
There are a lot of volunteer travel programs out there. What makes Trek Relief different is simple: the projects are community-requested, the funding goes directly to programs (85–88 cents of every dollar), and the people who lead these trips have been doing this work for a decade.
You're not a tourist with a hammer. You're part of a network of people who believe that travel can be a force for good — and who are willing to prove it, one trek at a time.
Whether you're an experienced backpacker looking for purpose, or someone who has never done anything like this before, there's a trip in 2026 with your name on it.
